Featured Dog: Hershey
Hershey Bear Melusky who is a 9 week old Chocolate English Labrador Retriever. Hershey lives with 2 wonderful Children, Addison 4 and Gregory 9 who have been asking for a puppy now for over a year.
Having a Coyote and fox problem in our heavily wooded area, we didn't want our puppy to get hurt during the night while he had to do his business. So we looked for something that would help house train Hershey, keep him safe while going potty and keep our deck free of pet waste. The Porch Potty was and is the answer! We opted for the Premium because of the great features.
Jeremy Melusky (the Schroeder boys owner shares):
"The drain hose is a perfect length. I was able to secure along the side of the house making it unnoticeable.
we love the porch potty and have recommended it to everyone we know!" -

Featured Dog: The Schroeder Boys
This is our new mommy Penny. Her and Mr. Hank E. Panky are AKC Pugs and are the proud parents of 6 BOYS! They are 3wks old and born on 4-11-11. Just set up the potty yesterday and they are already using it.
Lori (the Schroeder boys owner shares):
"We are using it for puppy training. After having 2 litters in our kitchen, and every time you go in there to feed/clean/play/water they run in pee and poo then jump on ya... I HAD to do something. Used some tax refund and bet on the fact that it just HAD to be cleaner. For us and for them. The puppy names are (4 fawn) Chubby, George, Randy, and Itchy (2 black) Nickolas and Nigel. Hope people flock to you guys. I believe in you guys!" -

Featured Dog: Reno
Reno is a 10 week old rare breed called a Coton De Tulear. He came from a breeder from Northern Vermont and had grown accustomed to going potty on snow.
Julie (Reno's owner shares):
"We purchased the large porch potty standard and received it 2 weeks ago, the day before we brought our puppy home. We live in an apartment complex and found that the porch potty would be convenient for us as well as respectful to our neighbors who we share our front yard with. We put the porch potty on our shoveled but still snow covered porch and he felt more comfortable going potty on the porch itself. I decided to shovel some snow onto the porch potty and he immediately caught on to exactly where we wanted him to potty! Now the snow has mostly melted and he jumps right up on the potty and does his business. It has made house training a breeze! " -

Featured Dog: Charly
Charly is a five year old English Springer Spaniel and her use of the Porch Potty was instant success!
Tami (Charly's owner shares):
"Now that Charly has been actively using her commode for about a week now, I have to say- it's fabulous. She rings the [not-so-dreaded-anymore] bell and runs to the patio door. We open it up for her and she trots outside, hops on the synthetic grass, and does her thang. It has made all of our lives immensely easier and well, Charly thinks she's the shiz-nit for having her very own potty." -

Christine(Bella 's owner) shares:
Bella started using her Porch Potty a couple of months ago. I live in a upstairs condo which made potty training a nightmare. I spent a year trying to potty train her outside with no yard! Now, look at our puppy, Bella! :) She LOVES Porch Potty!" -

Featured Dog: Cricket
Cricket is a beautiful 17 week-old female French Bulldog who came to be a part of Nicole's family when she was 10 weeks old. She started using the Porch Potty at 13 weeks old.
Nicole (Cricket's owner) shares:
"We got Cricket when she was 10 weeks old. She started using the Porch Potty at 13 weeks old, after I realized how difficult it would be to crate train a puppy in a high-rise building downtown Chicago. I was taking her out, down 22 floors in an elevator, every 1-2 hours and she was still having accidents in the house. That's when I decided to call in reinforcement... Porch Potty to the rescue!!! Being that there is no grass where I live, Cricket immediately took to the Porch Potty and made my life MUCH easier! Not to mention, it has saved me so much time! After using the Porch Potty less than 2-3 weeks, I'm happy to report that Cricket is fully potty trained! Now, Cricket just goes to the balcony door to let me know that she has to go outside to use the Porch Potty. What a great invention! Thank you Porch Potty!" -

Featured Dog: Lucy
Within 24 hours, Lucy was using her Porch Potty! Her owner, Christine, shared how important the Porch Potty was to their transition into a new apartment.
Christine (Lucy's owner) shares:
When we relocated from a house in Vermont to an elevator building in New York City,we knew we needed a solution for early morning and late evening 'pee breaks' and found the Porch Potty online. As soon as it was delivered, we set it up and encouraged her to step up on it, using treats to let her know she was doing a great job. We had one little set-back when Lucy got the idea that the new Porch Potty was actually her newest dog bed and lay down on it for a nap, so we brought our her real dog bed and she got the hint. Each time Lucy would signal that she wanted to pee, we'd walk her over to the Porch Potty and say 'do your business.' Within 24 hours, Lucy had it all figured out!" -

Tammy (Boo's owner) shares:
"Boo started using Porch Potty when visiting friends. It was so easy for her to use it since they are on an upper floor of their complex. Boo was a rescue puppy that I adopted when she was eight weeks old. She is a very gentle soul who loves everyone. You can almost see a smile on her face when she gets to interact with children. Boo changed my life! Who knew a pet could bring so much joy!" -

Featured Dog: MANA
Jana, (Mana's owner) shares:
"Mana is a 5 month old chihuahua. I live in an apartment, work and go to school so it is not always easy to make sure she gets out on time to do her business. I also live by the beach where the weather can be generally nice but it can easily get too cold for her. I tried pee pads, but she likes to tear them up and I have also tried a litter box with dog litter, but she liked to eat the paper pellets. I had heard about indoor "grass" potty for dogs so I did some research and found Porch Potty. I am really glad I did because it has helped us both quite a bit; I enjoy a mess free house and Mana enjoys having her own little piece of the outdoors without the outdoor weather." -

Featured Dog: DEXTER
Dexter found us on Facebook during Pet Appreciation Week when his owner, Jill, wanted to include him in our amazing Pet Appreciation Video for 2010. As you can see, Dexter, is sporting his "I'm on Facebook" shirt and some very cool shoes! It took a lot for Dexter to take a photo on his Porch Potty with his shoes on. His routine is shoes off BEFORE getting to his potty! Thank you, Dexter and Jill!
Jill, (Dexter's owner) shares:
"Dexter loves his porch potty and his new shoes. We are very blessed to have him, he is a rescue and is 19 months old. As soon as I take off his shoes, he promptly jumps on his Porch Potty and pees! LOL!" - Jill Krovitz Dublin, California

Featured Dog: River
River and her owner, Jillian, have been active Facebook fans and Porch Potty supporters for a while. Jillian posted some great picture of River on her Facebook album and they were just adorable! We couldn't resist sharing them with you!
Jillian, (River's owner) shares:
"River is a 2-year- old Chihuahua. She first started using the Porch Potty about a year ago. I use clicker training to teach River tricks and appropriate behaviors, and used this training method to teach her to use her Porch Potty. Although we take regular walks, River does not tolerate the cold, rain or snow very well. She also cannot go outside unattended due to her size. These issues, combined with the fact that we live in a second floor apartment, prompted my investigation into possible "potty" options. River and I are so happy that we found the Porch Potty. It is amazing how something like this has made both of our lives so much easier. The Porch Potty is one of the best purchases I've made and the customer service team is outstanding." - Jillian Senn South Jersey

Featured Dog: Phoebe
Phoebe's photo was sent to us via Twitter this week and is she not just the cutest! Who can resist those big beautiful eyes? Phoebe is a hyper and happy French Bulldog. We're excited to share her with you as our Featured Dog of the Week!
Jeannette (Phoebe's owner) shares:
"Phoebe started using the porch potty as a pup. She doesn't like snow at all and would refuse to go out in the snow. so I definitely had to find something she could use for a potty during the winter. We tried pee pads but she would chew them instead of using them. Then, I found your site and decided to give it a shot. It truly was a life saver because she immediately used it. It was nice not to have to worry about her peeing all over the house in the winter. It is also nice to know that if we run late to let her out she has her little porch potty right there for her." - Jeannette Rodriguez Chicago, Illinois

Featured Dog: The Dotschounds
Steve and Shirley (Dotschounds's owner) shares:
"We live in a second floor condo, and have dealt with the inconvenience of early morning and late evening trips down the stairs (rain or shine, hot or cold) to take the dogs to their "potty place". Then back up the stairs, dry the dogs and clean their paws if wet from rain or dew.We have two new doxies, Roxy and Rusty. While looking on the internet for "neat stuff" for our new pooches I found your web site for the Porch Potty. We decided, with some skepticism, to give it a try.Well, it turns out the Porch Potty is the best item I have ever purchased for our dogs. Potty training was much, much easier. We no longer have to make uncomfortable trips up and down the stairs to the "potty place", and no more wet and muddy dogs to clean up. Thank you for inventing a product that makes life more pleasant not only for our pups, but for us as well." - Steve and Shirley Simi Valley, Ca
